  The Land Records Management and Information System (LRMIS) project in Punjab, Pakistan has attracted the attention of the international community for its success in modernizing land records. Over 50 million land owners’ records were digitized in all 36 of Punjab’s districts.   Records management is an often overlooked and underrated procedure at many businesses. While a strong, well-thought out records management process can make organizations efficient and effective, bad records management can lead to messy and incomprehensible workspaces, irritable employees, and the loss of information.
